Technically speaking, I’m a Web developer with strong expertise on the LAMP architecture. Ok, LAMP may be too geeky, so let’s just say I’m a Web junky, I like Open Source software, I like Web 2.0 stuff (even if we don’t have the right to say that word anymore
), I like social media, I can’t live without Facebook, Twitter, and certainly not without my iPhone.
Professionally speaking, I’m the founder and CEO of INBOX International inc., a Montreal based company specializing in Web development based on open source technologies. We have a strong expertise on WordPress, ImpressCMS and XOOPS content management systems. We have a nice office downtown Montreal but we all like to work from home where we get the real work done! We have a team of a dozen people located in Montreal, West Virginia, Argentina, Columbia, Barcelona and Manchester.
Open Source wise, I have invested myself in different projects since 2003. First XOOPS, where I created The SmartFactory, a team of modules developers for XOOPS, then I got in the core development team and finally I got invited to be an officer on the XOOPS Foundation. After that, in 2007, I and 30 other XOOPS developers, designers, managers started a new open source project based on XOOPS, named ImpressCMS which, in 2009, was awarded the Best Promising Open Source CMS by Packt Publishing!
And what’s most important, family wise, I am an happily father of a hyper-active little boy, and a precious little girl and I’m a tremendously lucky and loving husband of an absolutely stunning and marvelous wife!
